When I was first diagnosed with IBS, I felt totally alone. I felt like everyone else in my life could eat whatever they wanted, and I would always be the girl with the crazy dietary restrictions. After doing a little research, I discovered that 10% of the world’s population has IBS. That’s 1 in 10 people in the world dealing with these symptoms; that means you are not alone! I know poop is awkward. I know being constipated and having diarrhea is embarrassing. I also know that feeling better and silencing those devitalizing symptoms is life-changing.
